Camping-Aach ...another "real campsite"...
...as a small campsite that has been thriving in the heart of the Allgäu since 1970, we have seen many trends come and go at “Camping Aach”. Of course, we have also developed further and adapted to the needs of our guests, but without forgetting our philosophy:
We are a camper family - no matter what you come with and how long you stay!
We deliberately do not have separate areas for stays of different lengths! This creates new friendships, interesting conversations and “neighbors”. That's exactly why our "camper family" continues to grow. And we are proud of that – that we succeed in this cooperation. In this respect, it doesn't matter to us whether the neighbors are annual residents or "travelers" - with us you can still help each other.
But even if you prefer to keep to yourself, that's no problem at all.

We pay great attention to harmonious coexistence in order to enable all of our guests to enjoy the “most beautiful days of the year”.

In summer or winter we also allocate a limited number of places to seasonal campers.
If there is no space available, we will be happy to add you to our waiting list.
Due to the proximity to winter sports areas with extremely guaranteed snow, the winter pitches are usually fully booked very early. Even in the low-snow winter of 2022/2023, it was only about 30 minutes to the next slope.
Tip: Our seasonal campers are given priority when allocating annual places.

Even if you don't want to spend your holiday with us in your own caravan, we can offer you an option.

Located in a family-friendly location close to the playground, it means “doors open and out into the countryside” for the little ones. The rustic holiday apartment "Allgäuer Stube" has approx. 70 m² and consists of a living room,
a well-equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. It offers space for 6 people (plus a baby cot).
Bedroom one consists of 1 single bed and1 bunk bed for 2 people.
The bedroom has two1 queen bed - now with new mattresses and pillows - and a crib.
The beds are made with sheets and duvets and pillows are provided, which you can use with your bed linen. Or you can simply book our laundry package and lie down “straight into the made bed”

the sleeping barrels....
Since 2021, we have been offering our guests a new holiday experience and allowing them to spend the night in our “Wolpertinger” sleeping barrels. The idyllic premium location, located directly on a mountain meadow with original Allgäu cows and their iconic bell sound, impresses our sleeping barrels with a fantastic view of the Bregenzerwald all the way to the Säntis.We were also awarded the CampsiteAward for 2023 for the location and design!
But the “Wolpertinger” is not just great fun for adults. Located in a family-friendly location close to our complex's playground, the little ones can enjoy “doors open and out into the countryside”. And the walking distance to our restaurants as well as the sanitary and lounge rooms is also a small highlight, as the size does not become a disadvantage, but rather an experience for the whole family.
The barrels have an extendable table with 6 seats, a 200x200cm family bed, and two convertible beds measuring 210x70cm. Of course including electricity and for the colder seasons with heating.
They are located next to each other and can each accommodate up to 4 people.
There is plenty of storage space for your luggage under the bed and under the benches.
The beds are covered with sheets, which you can use with your own pillows/blankets/sleeping bags.

our sleeping cave - the double barrel....
Since 2023 we have been offering our guests another new holiday experience - in our new sleeping cave/double barrel - perfect for families - even with two sleeping areas and a separate dining area. In an idyllic premium location, with a view of the countryside and the mountains, the large windows delight.
The cave has a dining area with 4 seats and two sleeping areas with 160x200cm beds - ideal for families but also for couples who want a little more space. The sleeping areas are separated by a curtain.
And the walking distance to the sanitary and lounge rooms is also a small highlight, as the size does not become a disadvantage, but rather an experience for the whole family.
Of course including electricity and for the colder seasons with heating.

the rental caravans....
We have two categories on offer:
The “Standard” rental caravanwith about 10 square meters of space, very close to theLeisure meadow. Suitable for 1-2 people, it offers everything you need.From cooking facilities to a refrigerator to a beautiful - partly covered - terrace.
A seating area with a table and a 140x200cm bed await cozy days and evenings.
Pets are allowed upon request.

The “Deluxe” rental caravan is located on the edge of the square, idyllically next to a small stream.
Also suitable for 2 people - a bed can also be converted for a child.
The “Deluxe” has a large porch and therefore has almost 25 square meters of living space.
Equipped with a fully equipped kitchenette, air conditioning and many other amenities.
No pets are allowed here.
And the walking distance to our restaurants as well as the sanitary and lounge rooms is also a small highlight, as the size does not become a disadvantage, but rather an experience for single travelers and couples.
There are numerous storage spaces for your luggage, which also makes longer stays possible.
The beds are covered with sheets, which you can use with your own pillows/blankets/sleeping bags.

...mobile homes on the move - "even for one night..."
Of course, motorhomes traveling through are also very welcome. With us you will receive a “normal parking space” - we do not have a “motorhome port”.
We offer you free water collection points, chemical toilet disposal and of course the disposal of your gray water when you stay with us. Please note, however, that the gray water tank must be emptied using a hose as we do not have a base plate.

Nice place in the Allgäu
We spontaneously decided to take a few more days of vacation in the Allgäu and drove to this place. We were warmly welcomed and given a seat. As the other reviews have already written, the place is located on a slope and we stood quite far down; But it's not a problem for people without disabilities. The food should also be mentioned: the bread roll service and a restaurant (which we unfortunately couldn't try out due to the short time available). The site itself is beautifully landscaped and is an ideal starting point for cycling and hiking tours.
